Human connection shapes how we live, work and lead.

We specialise in strengthening relational infrastructure in workplaces, where trust, cohesion and performance impact the bottom line.

Hi, I'm Phil McAuliffe

I'm the Founder of HUMANS:CONNECTING.

My work is shaped by more than 20 years in government, policy and diplomacy, my own experience of loneliness and disconnection, and years spent exploring what helps humans connect and what gets in the way.

I've lived and worked around the world, advised governments, led complex policy work and spoken internationally about loneliness and human connection.

Today, I work with individuals, workplaces, communities and systems to prioritise meaningful connection, recognise loneliness and respond in ways that strengthen connection instead of deepening disconnection.

WORKPLACE CONNECTION

The way people experience each other at work affects how work gets done

Trust, communication and collaboration don't exist separately from performance. They shape whether people raise concerns early, ask for help, share information, challenge ideas and are resilient under pressure.

Creating Connected Workplaces helps organisations understand and strengthen the relational infrastructure affecting how their people work together.

Our approach combines behavioural science, organisational measurement and practical action to identify where connection is supporting performance and where disconnection is creating risk.

Meaningful connection is built, practised and strengthened.

Connection shapes how we experience our lives, our relationships, our workplaces and the communities we're part of.

But meaningful connection doesn't happen simply because people are together. It is shaped by how we communicate, if we trust each other, how we respond when someone reaches out and the conditions we create for people to belong and contribute.

This is the work of HUMANS:CONNECTING.

We help individuals understand and prioritise their social health, workplaces strengthen their relational infrastructure, and governments and communities turn awareness of loneliness and disconnection into impactful connection action.

Empower. Prioritise. Strengthen.
